Fifty-nine people were killed and 489 were injured in a mass shooting on Sunday (Oct. 1) at the Route 91 Harvest music festival in Las Vegas.
Nevada police have confirmed that they have found 42 fire-arms of Paddock's, with 19 found in his home, and the further 23 found in his hotel room in Las Vegas. This included five handguns, two shotguns and a "plethora of ammunition", as well as a firearm with a possible "bump stock" modification that "enables a person to speed up ammunition", Lombardo said.
He arrived at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino four days before the attack with at least 10 suitcases filled with guns, according to police.
The attack was the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history.
"Breach, breach, breach", an officer said moments before the sound of an explosion.
They said, "We haven't been able to determine if there has been anybody else in the room besides him".
Mr. Aldean said now more than ever is the time for Americans to come together and "stop the hate".
Bridges took a video of the room to remember the memory. She could hear rapid gunfire around the hotel, but otherwise, everything seemed normal as she drove around the block looking for people to pick up.
"While we will try and move forward, we will never forget this day", it stated. Flowers were also left for the victims.
"Everybody's dead! There's dead people everywhere!" the woman cried.
The suspected gunman, 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, wasn't on law enforcement's radar. "I still don't know what to say but wanted to let everyone know that me and my crew are safe". Authorities said they believed he acted alone, although his motive was unknown. "Our bonds cannot be broken by violence, and though we feel such great anger at the senseless murder of our fellow citizens, it is our love that defines us today and always will".
"Relationship-wise, it is very hard to determine what has occurred in his life in the last decade or so", he added. And it just got faster and faster, almost it was an automatic rifle.
